The secure version of the site won't load
Visiting the https:// address fails: the server answers but never presents a security certificate. Tested from two locations.
Axeldyne Site Monitor
Automated, read-only checks of your site the way a customer sees it: uptime, security certificate, domain renewal, broken links, contact forms, phone and hours, and the directory links that send people to you. When something breaks, you get a plain-English alert with the fix.
Instant quick check. We read public pages only and never submit forms or log in.
Illustrative example. Not a real customer.
Built for plumbers, restaurants, dentists, contractors, shops, and any business with a website.
How it works
Enter your address and, if you like, the links that Google, Yelp, Facebook or your industry's directories list for you.
Weekly on Free, daily on Pro. Each run looks at your home page and key pages just as a visitor would.
What broke, why it costs you customers, and exactly what to do, by email, with Slack alerts on paid plans.
What we check
Errors, blank or default hosting pages, and slow load times.
Invalid, mismatched or expiring HTTPS certificates that trigger browser warnings.
Domains close to expiring, before your site and email go dark.
Dead links on your home page and key pages like Contact, Services and Hours.
Whether a form exists and looks wired up. We read the code only and never submit it.
Different numbers or conflicting hours across pages, plus leftover template text.
Listing links that now land on a dead, parked or spam page instead of your site.
Every issue comes with why it matters and how to fix it, written for owners, not developers.
Real findings
We ran our read-only checker on 20 small-business websites in the Akron–Canton, Ohio area on November 4, 2026, then re-checked each result below by hand. Names are withheld, and we didn't contact any of them.
Visiting the https:// address fails: the server answers but never presents a security certificate. Tested from two locations.
Same problem: no HTTPS certificate is served, so modern browsers show an error instead of the shop's page.
On the Heating Products page, the links to furnaces, heat pumps, ductless systems, water heaters and unit heaters all go to 404 pages.
An invisible character pasted into the links breaks them. The real service pages exist at the clean address.
One number appears on four pages, a different one on another page, and neither is tap-to-call on a phone.
Across 8 pages there's no contact form and no clickable email, so after-hours visitors can't leave a message.
